Sheriffs Across 50 States Make Announcement About Obama: ‘We’re Coming For You’
When sheriffs are sworn in to duty, they take an oath to uphold the law and the Constitution. As protectors of the law and our rights as Americans, a group of sheriffs recently converged on the Capitol to protest President Obama’s illegal amnesty order.
“We’ve had 20-something-odd meetings in the White House this summer it’s reported, by stakeholders, primarily business and special interests groups,” Senator Jeff Sessions told reporters. “Not once has the National Sheriff Association been invited.”
Sessions attended the protests, along with Senator David Vitter and Representative Marsha Blackburn.
“What we’re facing in Texas and in this nation is a large ‘welcome’ sign and a saloon-door mentality on our border,” Jackson County Sheriff Andy Louderback said of Obama’s plan for amnesty. Other issues discussed by the association included drug busts and violence.
“The president talks a lot of about fairness,” Blackburn weighed in. “Let me tell you what is not fair. It is not fair for out-of-work Tennesseans to have to compete for jobs with those that have chosen to illegally come into this country.”
