Ganga Maya says suspects should take ploygraph test
Sep 21, 2016- Ganga Maya Adhikari has requested the Citwan District Court to conduct polygraph test of the persons accused in the murder of her son Krishna Prasad.
In her court statement, she has also mentioned that those suspects who refuse to undergo the test must be deemed guilty and punished.
Krishan Prasad was allegedly abducted and killed by the then Maoist rebels in 2004.
A legal team from the Chitwan District Court had recorded her statement on Sunday. Court official Krishna Prasad Baral said the case could be finalised on September 25 if the court decides that it does not need other evidences.
Ganga Maya is still recuperating after staging a month-long hunger strike at Bir Hospital.
She along with her husband, Nanda Prasad, had started a hunger strike campaign almost three years ago demanding justice for their murdered son. Nanda Prasad died while on fast two years ago. Family members have refused to receive his body in protest.
