Outrage After Michelle Obama Slips Up… America Furious
Michelle Obama has been in the White House for almost eight years now. In that time, her true colors have shown through. If there is one thing we know for certain after two terms, it’s that Michelle loves getting attention for herself.
That’s why it was almost laughable when Michelle told in InStyle magazine that she couldn’t wait for her husband to leave office in November so she could return to a normal life.
“My hopes are to recapture some of the everydayness, some anonymity,” Michelle told interviewers. “And we know that will take some time. But I always joke that I dream of opening up my front door and walking out without any notification, without any security.”
“And it will be nice to open up the paper, look at the front page, and know that you’re not responsible for every headline,” she continued. “It’s sort of like: it’s not my job.”
In the interview, Michelle failed to mention that she will no longer get to spend taxpayer dollars to fund her lavish vacations. We’ll wonder how she’ll adjust to that after she steps out of the door.
