Auto schemes galore




Oct 2, 2016- Automobile dealers have launched various promotional schemes to cash in on the festive spending spree as the country’s biggest and longest festival begins. They have rolled out schemes such as cash discounts, lucky draws, insurance schemes and tour packages to pull in the customers. The schemes last till the Chhath festival in November.

Hyundai

Laxmi InterContinental, authorised distributor of Hyundai cars in Nepal, is offering cash discounts of up to Rs600,000 under its “Hyundai Festive Delight” campaign. It is also offering the Creta and Elite i20 cars on a lucky draw basis to two Hyundai buyers, while 100 customers can win 100 tolas of gold. Other offers include a one-year free comprehensive insurance package, including third-party and vehicle insurance, and free road tax for a year.

Tata

Sipradi Trading, authorised distributor of Tata vehicles for Nepal, is offering a cash discount of up to Rs50,000. Two lucky buyers of the Indica CR4, Zest, Bolt, Storme, Sumo Gold and e-Xeta cars will get a chance to win a two-wheeler or a Europe tour package. Sipradi is also offering accessories worth Rs25,000 for free and bank financing service at 4.5 percent interest.

Fiat

Life Automobile, authorised distributor of Fiat cars, has offered finance service at 4.5 percent interest. It is also offering free accessories and free one-year vehicle tax and insurance premium.

Nissan

Dugar Brothers and Sons, authorised seller of Nissan cars, has rolled out a campaign named “Yaspali ko Chad, Laijau Nissan Car”. Under the scheme, customers can get discounts of up to Rs500,000.

Volkswagen

Volkswagen has launched “Dashain-Tihar Volksfest” scheme, under which customers can get a cash discount of up to Rs700,000. Under sure-shot gifts, the buyers can receive 32- to 65-inch Panasonic television sets. Volkswagen buyers can also win a Beetle car and 24kg gold under the bumper prize, according to Pooja International, authorised distributor of Volkswagen for Nepal.

Suzuki

CG MotoCorp, authorised distributor of Suzuki vehicles, has launched “Suzuki Parbotsav”, under which customers are offered cash discounts of up to Rs200,000. In addition, customers can get free one-year insurance premium and vehicle tax, and a tank full of fuel on purchase of every Suzuki vehicle. 

Honda

Syakar Company, authorised distributor of Honda motorbikes, has been running “Honda Wheel of Fortune” scheme, under which the company pays one-year vehicle tax and insurance premium, and offers free accessories. Customers can also win a cash prize of Rs100,000 on a lucky draw basis.

Yamaha

MAW Enterprises, sole distributor of Yamaha two-wheelers for Nepal, is offering a cash discount of Rs8,000 and a round-trip to Japan to a customer every week. The offer is applicable on purchase of any of Yamaha motorbikes, including Ray Z, Ray ZR, R15, FZ-S and Saluto,

TVS

Jagadamba Motors, authorised distributor of TVS two-wheelers, is offering cash discounts of up to Rs10,000 on its products.
